Why is school like it is?

I've heard the theory, "Those that can do...those that can't teach." There are exceptions, I'm sure because there must be some inspired exciting teachers. Maybe you will grow up to be one. I believe being a good teacher is a gift. The best teacher I ever had was one, that knew how to ask great questions. He didn't answer them, just asked them. It was up to the students to find the answers.
