How to boot from Gparted Live Cd when current Operating system is fedora?

I want to install an Xp OS oin my old comp.. but i previously installed a linux os.. fedora.. which changed the format to Fat 32.. and i need NTFS... so i wanted to use this thing i learned about called GPARTED livecd.. aparently you can boot from it ,... and choose what you want to format .. and what format you want the hardrive formated in.. so if any one of you have any ideas.. be sure to let me know...
