PC Hardware Compatibility?

Google search your board. Try to find one that you can purchase. It should say what type of processor size it accepts.(65NM, 45NM, etc). Then check the processor you plan on buying to make sure it is the correct size. And your motherboard should be able to handle another GB of RAM.
