How do I prevent my cleaning towls from leaving behind so much lint?

I have a maid service & I use ur typical commercial towel, U know the white ones with the thick green stripe down the middle. I use them to clean all rooms of the house. Whenever I use them on a dark surface such as dark wood cabinets, they leave behind so many white fibers. What should I do?
