Smallville series, where to start?

Kristin was in season 1- 6 i think.. and came back in 8 for about 3 or 4 episodes. but seeing as how much SV has changed from the beginning to now i would say start at 7..alot of stuff now is happening cause of small things or deals that happened during those seasons..i personally have all 8 seasons and love it!!!
